Da dream dat i had of an angel that could fly,
Is when my grandmother was still alive,
She always made me laugh and smile,
And to see her leave, was a sad goodbye,
She was prosperous, special, and unique,
God made her perfect, she was strong but neva weak,
I knew that dis wasn't my only time,
2 see dat an angel could really fly,
She was like a bird, or a bluejay,
That always looked down upon me,
Her face was round, her smile was big,
She was da one that i called on since i was little,
I can see her talkin, sayin i'll always be here,
I wish i can see her one more time,
And hug and share a few more tears,
Months are turning into years,
I can visualize how her life was,
She lived a good life, and in that case,
She's neva forgotten, i miss her sweet face,
Someone who is neva replaced,
But she's just an angel,
Who's gone up to heaven,
I neva knew she could fly,
So high beyond da misting blue clouds.
