They look upon themselves, with so much hatred & shame,

Embarrassed by who they are, embarrassed by their name.
They feel their heritage is a disgrace,
Repressing the roots, they'd rather not embrace,

They see their people and they begin to hide,
They have no heart and they have no pride,
No knowledge of their history, No knowledge of their past,
You try to tell them, but they only laugh,

They try to erase their elements of culture,
They rip it apart like scavenging vultures,
If they had the chance, they would sell it away,
And not have to deal with it,for the rest of their days,

If their heritage were an object, they would let it break,
If heritage was were jewellery they would buy the fake,
They should love their culture and love their pride,
They should show their roots and not let it hide,

They should not scowl at us, as if we are the enemy,
They should be proud of their true identity.
