    Cry Not For My Death
    Jacqueline Amos

Cry not for my death; give me my flowers as I live,
Weep not for my soul, I am in a better place,

Sing of the joy that I have live upon thy earth.
Placed the flowers upon the feet ,
    of the sick and disable,
    cry not for thy soul,
I shall receive my great rewards,
cry not for my lost, I will be in the arms of God,
Give me thy flowers that I may smell ,
as they flourish, Give me thou water.

When my tongue dry of thirst,
Give me thy honor, as I shed blood for my country,
give me thy rewards, that I may enjoy the honor.

    Sing not the sadness ,
that thou shall weep, sing not thy weakness,
of thoughts as I leave, sing of joy,
as I gain my wings, cry for the world,
death is life among the angels,
as I fly upon there wings.
