Crucify me​

And let me die
I'll carry my cross alone
Because my burdens are mine to carry
Hammer me to my wooden grave
And let me be
Deprive me of my necessity
Strip me of my love
So I can suffer painfully
Burn me to ash
The proper punishment meant for me
Crucify me
And let me die
Let my tears fall freely
Take away the one thing I love dearly
I've fought too hard, I'm weary
So beat me more and let blood flow onto your whip
Let your tounge lashes inflict a million more gashes
Wrap my thorns around my head and mock me
Humiltate me and make me pay for my so-called crime
Nail me with my arms spread wide
Let the rain pour over me and cleanse me of sin
Crucify me
And let me die​
