The LAST Messenger of God is considered the FUL-FILL-MENT of the Messiah, the Christ, the Mahdi.

A-L-L of the scholars of religion, should get together, among themselves, and agree on, this most VITAL point, WHO IS, the Last, Messenger of God?

According to the scholars, the “CRITERION, for measuring," the Last Messenger of GOD, is this:

Number one (1). Any man who claims, that he or she is the Last Messenger, of All Mighty GOD, is a man/women whose history, should be studied, by all. We must study, his history, and compare, his history, with the history, of those Prophets, who went before him.

For the Last Messenger, is a "FUL-FILL-ER," of all, that the former Prophets, PREDICTED; and in His Life, we must see, the lives, of all of those great, and worthy Prophets, who went, before Him.

Number two (2). We must take the Message, in the mouth, of the Last Messenger; and we must analyze, that Message; and then we must compare, that Message, of the man or women who CLAIMS, to be the Last Messenger, with what, the Prophets, PREDICTED, that the Last Messenger, would say.

Then, the third (3rd) test, of the TRUTHFULNESS, of his claim, is to look, at those, who follow, him or her, and how they are AFFECTED, by WHAT, he teaches.

And the fourth (4th) test, is to look, down, the wheel of time, and see how, his message, will affect, generations, to come.

And when we have done, all of that, then we can either, dismiss, the women or man's claim, and say he or she is an IMPOSTER, or we must bear witness, that He or She is indeed, the Last, of the Messenger's of All Mighty GOD.

The Last Message and the Last Messenger

From the beginning, Islam has declared that it is the last message, and Muslims have accepted this fact with wisdom and with love, and have realized that Islam is the last manifestation of revelation, prophethood, and the culmination of the former pure religions. Also, all Muslims - on the basis of Qur'an and hadith - believe that Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last messenger of Allah (swt) who was the recipient of human leadership. The Qur'an has explained the universality of the religion of Al-Islam, and has shown that Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the last emissary sent by God:

"Muhammad is not the father of any of one of your men, but the messenger of Allah and the seal of the Prophets; and Allah has knowledge of everything" (Sura 33:40)

It is said in a hadith from the Prophet to Ali: "In all respects your relation to me is like that of Aaron to Moses (i.e., if Aaron was Mose's brother, I also take you as a brother according to the rules of brotherhood; if he was Mose's successor, you also will be my successor). Except that Moses was not the last prophet, and I am the last." (It is an authentic hadith accepted by both Shia and Sunnis. See al-ghadir, vol.3, pp.196-202).

He also said: "I am the last brick in the building of prophethood, after me as a prophet, there will be no prophet anymore." Imam Ali (saw) said in Nahg al-Balaghah, the great book of learning and knowledge: "With the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (saw), revelation comes to an end."

The eighth leader, Imam Hazrat Rida (saw) said: "The pure religion of Muhammad (saw) will not be abrogated till the Day of Resurrection, and also no Prophet will follow him." (Bihar al-anwar, vol.II, p.34)

What I have recounted is only a sample of numerous hadiths that clearly and succinctly explain the conclusive status of Prophet Muhammad (saw), and the perpetuity of his pure religion; they leave no room for doubt...

    FUL-FILL-MENT of Prophecy

The truth of these assertions is with out doubt.

Now, let us “understand” the truth of these assertions.

    When Prophet Muhammad said,

"I am the last brick in the building of prophet-hood, after me as a prophet, there will be no prophet anymore"–

The Prophet was speaking in a context, a context that is a Law, the Law of Prophecy. An immutable Law of Prophecy.

The Context and Law of Prophecy states that “prophecy” is in two parts and TIMES: the TIME of “prophecy” and the TIME of the “FUL-FILL-MENT” OF, the prophecy.

Prophet Muhammad defined Himself and His Mission as a “Prophet.” Therefore by so defining himself as a “Prophet” He was saying that His TIME was the “TIME of Prophecy”but the “unspoken” implication is that AFTER Him would arrive the TIME of the “FUL-FILL-MENT”OF Prophecy, NOT a Prophet but the “fulfillment” OF His “Prophetic” mission and history.

Prophecy is in two Parts, two TIME frames: the TIME and CONTEXT of Prophecy and the TIME and CONTEXT OF “FUL-FILL-MENT” OF the Prophecy.

The Fulfillment OF Prophecy is DIFFERENT, is NOT the same as Prophecy. They are two DIFFERENT concepts and ideas, two DIFFERENT, TIME frames.

"With the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (saw), revelation comes to an end."

With Prophet Muhammad “PROPHETIC REVELATION” the “TIME”of Prophetic revelation came to an END. Prophet Muhammad was the END of Prophecy. There is NO more to Prophecy. But AFTER Prophet Muhammad arrives the TIME of “REVELATION” that is the “fulfillment” of the Prophecy. So there is two types of “revelation” - revelation that is Prophecy and revelation that is the fulfillment of the prophecy.

"Muhammad is not the father of any of one of your men, but the messenger of Allah and the seal of the Prophets; and Allah has knowledge of everything" (Sura 33:40)

There are two meanings and Context of TIMES to this verse. The meaning of “Prophetic” TIME, context of the Prophet. And the MEANING and TIME of the FUL-FILL-MENT.

Indeed, Prophet Muhammad put a “seal” on the TIME of Prophecy.

The key word here is “seal.” There are two definitions of this word that are relevant and important.

Oxford English Dictionary gives us these relevant definitions of the verb “seal”: 1 fasten or close securely. 2 (seal off) isolate (an area) by preventing entrance to and exit from it. 4 conclude.

The TIME of “FUL-FILL-MENT” OF Prophecy” does not take anything away from the Prophet. He is the “Seal of the Prophets.”

The scriptures of Qur’an not only has reference to the “Prophetic Time”of Prophet Muhammad but also to the “Time of the Fulfillment of Prophecy,” that takes place AFTER the Prophet.

"Muhammad is not the father of any of one of your men, but the messenger of Allah and the seal of the Prophets; and Allah has knowledge of everything" (Sura 33:40)

Also refers to That One Who Arrives AFTER Prophet Muhammad as the fulfillment of prophecy, in the TIME of the fulfillment of prophecy, who CONFIRMS and VALIDATES the Prophets as “true” Prophets.

That One Who Arrives AFTER Prophet Muhammad as the fulfillment of prophecy, “FULFILLS” the role of the “SEAL” of the Prophets in accord with the noun definition of the word “seal.”

Noun: 2 a piece of wax or lead with an individual design stamped into it, attached to a document as a guarantee of authenticity. 3 a confirmation or guarantee: a seal of approval. 4 an engraved device used for stamping a seal. 5 authenticate (a document) with a seal.

The eighth leader, Imam Hazrat Rida (saw) said: "The pure religion of Muhammad (saw) will not be abrogated till the Day of Resurrection, and also no Prophet will follow him." (Bihar al-anwar, vol.II, p.34)

Abrogate is a verb that means to “formally repeal or do away with.” It is not that “the pure religion of Muhammad” will be abrogated but OUR UNDERSTANDING will be “repealed and done away with” as a NEW and GREATER UNDERSTANDING of the Prophetic Revelation of Muhammad is “reveled” by the Fulfillment of Prophecy.

Since the TIME we are living in is the Day of Resurrection, the resurrection of the mental and spiritual dead, then the “PROCESS” of the “REVELATION” of the new and greater understanding of the “fulfillment of prophecy” is in “process.” A process that is “on going” but not yet completed or ended.

Prophet Muhammad could NOT be the FUL-FILL-MENT OF Prophecy because He did NOT live in the TIME of “FUL-FILL-MENT” OF Prophecy,” but Prophet Muhammad lived in the TIME of Prophecy.

I believe the Son of the Father wasn't the very last messenger, but of all the great Prophets, He was the greatest to come. For He came as a sacrifice, so that we all might live unto His salvation, and was resurrected from the dead before ascending to the Father's Right Hand. None other can do that, nor have any before or after our Savior done that, seeing that He was the Anointed Son.

While there are messengers sent to preach the Word of the Father, to redeemed the Holy ones of the Most High, no messengers will do what the Son has done.
