Thunder shakes the earth
lightening splits the sky
and rain falls....

A fierce downpour
cleansing our bloody streets
John's memory washed away
his tears and pain forgotten
Jane's life torn astray
her torment, her agony misbegotten

The rain clenses our impure streets
traces of ill-will, none remain
as the world forgets our tortured agony
no reminder of shayla's pain.

And amidst reverbrating windows
and shaking limbs
the rain cleanses the earth's streets
yet like hollow lines
intwined in impure hearts and darkened souls
the grime is her to stay

So as I see bloody hands clensed
and I see living memory washed away
I expect no change in men this day
For man won't change....
till the price he's willing to pay.

Hi BioRhythm
very creative drop
only the outside can be cleanse
point made
today there may be no change
Only Today
Many blessing to our tomorrows
May they not be filled with these sorrow
Peace and Love
