I saw you from across the room,
Your eyes lifted me from my gloom and I was doomed.
Like that brown sugar pulsing through your veins,
irresistable,
yet deadly.
Entranced,
My mind danced,
danced to the beat of an unknown tune.
Like a breath, it became my own.

You transcended night and day,
The dawn of a new beginning,
Like a child's first breath,
A virgin's last moment,
My dreams began to speak,

Our lives unfold,
Dramas on hold,
Passions untold,

You asked me could I be the one,
Could I be the one fo fulfill your innermost desires,
Could I be the one to quench your heart's fires,
Could I be that one?

P.S. You guys tell me what you think, an honest opinion. Just wanted to know if I should keep writing.
