This is a comment I read in another thread, but I tweaked it a bit for the sake of positive inspiration.

Many of us lack the creative faith and belief that we can actuate things into being, just be pure motivation and genuine acceptance of what we desire as the outcome.

I have no idea who this "Corey Baker" is, but one of our sistars on here has mentioned his name as a potential alternative for 2020... I reject this and say 2016 should be the agenda.

Some could say this would hurt his political career, some could say this would be futile.
So why not discuss this if many feel the choices now are essentially "futile" as well?

Let's discuss... who is Corey Baker?

    ---amended---

Found out that this was supposed to be NJ Senator Cory Booker

While there is a discussion going on in another thread about should we, shouldn't we, how can we, etc...
will be gathering information and research on this brother before we invest into it further.

May be good, may be bad... but I trust it should be better than the status quo... **

Correction, it was supposed to be Cory Booker... of which I am familiar with.

Will begin to share information about this US Senator from New Jersey, by way of N.C.

Why Do Liberals Hate Cory Booker?
The mayor of Newark is a rising Democratic star with progressive positions on most issues. So why are so many on the left so critical?

Cory Booker is not yet a senator, but many on the left have already made up their minds that the onetime Democratic wunderkind is a sellout.

The 44-year-old two-term mayor of Newark won the New Jersey Democratic primary by 39 points last week, all but guaranteeing he will take his place in Washington in a couple of months. (One recent poll had him up 16 points on his little-known Republican opponent.) Yet Booker's triumph was greeted not by cheers but by scathing takedowns in two prominent liberal publications. Salon called him "an avatar of the wealthy elite, a camera hog, and a political cipher"; The New Republic declared Booker only interested in "agitating for the cause of himself" and doing the bidding of "the moneyed classes." Booker has faced a steady drumbeat of criticism from sites like Daily Kos, where a contributor asserted last year that he "would actually be much more at home in the Republican Party."* Booker's team has grown all too familiar with the rap that he is "some sort of Manchurian candidate for the right," as his campaign spokesman, Kevin Griffis, put it to me with a sigh.

Sen. Cory Booker to NCCU grads: Fight the big fights
    May 14, 2016

N.C. Central University’s 127th commencement Saturday not only transformed the lives of 718 undergraduates who finally clutched their degrees, but offered a glimpse of the change that’s still possible.

U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield Jr., a Wilson Democrat who leads the Congressional Black Caucus, welcomed the students to the end of their proverbial tunnel.

“I know that you have had some long days and sleepless nights and, at times, this day was not clearly in focus. But graduates, graduates you persevered ... and you made it,” Butterfield said. “I’m proud of all of you and wish you continued blessings.”

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, a New Jersey Democrat, then took the microphone in O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium as keynote speaker and described how Durham’s lone historically black university shaped his life. Booker said he wouldn’t have become a senator if his late father, Cary Booker, hadn’t donned the maroon and gray and graduated from Central in 1962 – before the nation’s Jim Crow laws were eradicated.

“He was a man of great ambition,” Booker said. “He broke barriers and smashed down doors in his life.”

Booker is not campaigning for the 2016 election and will not be at the convention in that capacity, title remains inappropriate:
