I have lots of company when I say Black police officers should never ever accept plain clothes or worst undercover assignments. Depending on any myriad set of conditions that can lead to a Black officers demise is racism, jealousy, getting set up by___________while being a Black cop, being shot while Black, gross negligence, incompetence, false bravado, mistaken identity, the John Wayne's "George McClintock" or Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry" braggadocio or a whole host of other conditions that exist for the untimely demise of any plainclothes or undercover cop much less a Black cop. Way too many Black cops getting shot dead by White counterparts for attempting to intercede in criminal activity while off duty. When a bullet is fired the shooter may have a dubious motive but the bullet has no brain, just a shell casing, a primer, gunpowder and usually a copper lined lead plug. All it knows is to use it's kinetic energy to inflict maximum damage to it's target. Black or White, it's all the same to the bullet.
