Hey folks, if you have the time, check out this book. Just as we have Conversations with God and Conversations with the Black Man's God, there is now Conversations with the African Gods, a book of channeled writings dictated by Ezenwanyi NwaOnishe. Ezenwanyi is a Prophetess/Priestess of Onishe who in the Yoruba tradition is known as Yemonja. Her calling is ancestral since she comes from a lineage of Queen Mothers and Priestesses. Channeling mostly the Igbo deities from her heritage, answers to commonly asked questions concerning African people are provided. The book covers issues like Africa's past golden age/s, the fall of African people, slavery, the Berlin conference as well as how to go about achieving economic empowerment, sacred unions between men and women and so on. The deities/ancestors that are channeled include Ikenga, god of success and enterprise, Onishe, goddess of the rivers/oceans, Anywanwu, god of the sun, and Ani, the earth goddess. A few "non Igbo deities" also make an appearance such as Tehuti, Ausar and his partner, Auset.

The first link is the book itself. The second link is a recording of the interview the author had on IgboKwenu radio show on blogtalk. During this interview, she answers questions that are posed to her by listeners. Enjoy and stay blessed!
