When a person makes a post on a black forum on any topic, do you feel that the way people react is based on that persons reputation, popularity, and the titles and positons they hold in life and online, or is it judged on the content?

Do you feel that all of the above should come into play? Should an opinion agianst the grain or against that of a more popular member be disregarded?

How do you feel things go on black websites (main question)?

I agree with Rich...the content of the post is the determining factor. Reputation makes a difference in visiting a website. However if you aren't interested in what a particular poster is talking about, then you won't respond...period!

The content SHOULD be the most important factor, but isn't always. Some folks are easily influenced by who it is that made the comment. I know that people want to have their friend's back, as it were. I don't think that is a trait held only by Black people however. Perhaps if a friend makes a comment that we don't like and/or agree with, and we don't want to ruffle feathers....perhaps the best thing to do, would be not to add to it at all, thereby not adding fuel to the fire. IMO

It would be great if it is as you represent it in your post. Unfortunately, black people who are members, owners and moderators attack posters who stray off the path and try to convince the world that the person is just out to cause trouble. I have been thru it and thru it again. No site has let me down yet in terms of discovering this behaviour. :censored:

can't speak for everone but i never attack i go and ttry to reach a solution
to solve it not hit with force not my style but we are more in unity here and
we are not heavy but we do uphold the rulings and laws of destee.com
but i truely feel you and what you saying some time and in mostly every site
we always have a weak link or one who is direct and not so much of attacking
but strong on whatever the case maybe , everybody free will and speech is
welcome and view wit respect , it's not just black sites but all sites have a
standard but it's the people who is behind the rulings & laws that make it out
right hard for others we try to not be of such but i still say the content of
a post is the focus point of the discussion not their rep or who they are you
make a great point and i value that MrBlak......Thankz for expressing this point.
