Well ... generally ... from what i understand ... running for public office puts one's personal character and integrity on the table for critique.

While that is the case, and some still get in despite having less than savory personal reputations ... it's just one of many flaws in the system.

Nonetheless, flaw or not, if you're going to take the position, and then get caught doing what most would consider inappropriate, you must suffer the consequence.

There are examples that need setting, children need to see how to do and be, and if this is the best he has ... he probably shouldn't be leading.

It's naive for any public servant to think they can act any kind of way in their personal life, and it not reflect on their professional image.

You couldn't get away with it, and neither could I.
