    I entered a land
    Where we fought…and cried
    Loved…and died.

    Have no fear…

When confusion is more than a passerby
    And clarity begins to wane
When he whose lowly spirits roam
    Through night ‘til early dawn

Live long the light that lights the way
    …the path my journey takes
that leads me through the maze of ways
    mistakes…I’m sure to make

but when the dark days settle in
    confusing thoughts abound
when love and life isn’t looked upon
    as good…or safe, like now

I journeyed past what wasn’t right
In search of what wasn’t wrong
    I thought this strange
    …not quite like me
    still, I journeyed…and journeyed on

Atop a mound of deep despair
    I found a single dream
    I studied long
    I studied hard
To find there what it means

From deep despair, I discovered love
    And hope
    And happiness, too
One said that I was wrong for this
Then asked, “what will you do?”

I’ll follow the glow that warms my soul
Listening to what it has to say
I’ll follow the light that brightens my way
    As it lights another day

I’ll walk the road of lonely times
‘til I fall or find my way
    travel the expanse overlooking despair
    trying to escape my yesterday

    I walked alone
    …was on my own
    through morning, noon, and night
    they said I’d fail
    I wouldn’t succeed
But I needed to understand RIGHT

    Through jungles of wrong
    I walked alone
    To find my destiny
    Fighting
    Kicking
    All the way
In search of what should be

    I
    Alone
    I
    Sing
    The
    Song
    My passions running deep
    Through jungles of wrong
    I walk alone
    When done
    I’ll
    Sit
    And
    Weep

    The lands were scavenged
    Picked and cleaned
    Barren of all things right
    When that land
    …became a home
wrong stripped it of all life

I traveled through that barren wasteland
    Steadily…on my quest
To discover RIGHT and LOVE and LIFE
    Or DIE…while trying my best

I encountered opposition along the way
No one would support my aim
When I’d stutter, stumble, or fall
Wrong fought to smother my claim

    Confusion rules…

    ‘til RIGHT takes flight.

    I find that... {haiku}

    Confusion's the lock.
    Overcoming the unknown,
    represents the key.
