    Confession

    My head hurts constantly,
At times my breath is short,
    Occasionally my chest becomes
Tight, and my stomach begins to
    Cringe.
I Have A Confession To Make
What a burden to carry from day
    To day, What dishonesty, and
    violation of Trust. The secrets
that are embedded In my mind,
    heart, and soul.
I Have A Confession To Make
What shall befall me as I dare to
Pour out the very thing that has
Kept me hostage for so long?
Will they disown me, will my life
    End as I know it?
    I Have A Confession To Make…
I attempt to utter the words that hold
My destiny but the words seem to
Hold a tight grip to the walls of my
Mind, and they won’t escape through
My mouth, time stops as I expose that,

    I Have A Confession To Make…

Confessions held in the heart, is indeed a burden...if to no one else, confess it to God.

Confessions can be so hard to make, you fear that your life may change forever because of it. But can you continue to live as you do without confessing? You expressed this agony very well poet.

to be released is to confess all to thy holy father ....surely at times
to make an confession can be hard and painful yet it will release
thy spirit the soul and heart......well felt

Kept me hostage for so long?
Will they disown me, will my life
    End as I know it?

This is true turmoil to find ones self in. Yes you may be disowned. A confession helps in seeking peace. Your life will be effected how long it 's not known. How bad that is a mystery. A confession, can be heavy and make you feel like your drowning.
