Confession

My head hurts constantly,
At times my breath is short,
Occasionally my chest becomes
Tight, and my stomach begins to
Cringe.
I Have A Confession To Make
What a burden to carry from day
To day, What dishonesty, and
violation of Trust. The secrets
that are embedded In my mind,
heart, and soul.
I Have A Confession To Make
What shall befall me as I dare to
Pour out the very thing that has
Kept me hostage for so long?
Will they disown me, will my life
End as I know it?
I Have A Confession To Make…
I attempt to utter the words that hold
My destiny but the words seem to
Hold a tight grip to the walls of my
Mind, and they won’t escape through
My mouth, time stops as I expose that,

I Have A Confession To Make…
