( WASHINGTON , D.C. , 4/16/07) - The Muslim Students Association (MSA) National expresses profound grief at the tragedy which unfolded this morning on the campus of Virginia Tech. We wish to convey our deepest condolences to the students, staff and faculty members, and especially the parents and loved ones of those individuals who died as a result of the shootings. It is at times like these that the campus community must come together in support not only of the victims and their families but also in solidarity with one another in these painful times. We recommend strongly that the Muslim students, staff and faculty on the campus of Virginia Tech join in campus-wide efforts to memorialize the lives of those individuals who passed away as a result of this horrific tragedy. The campus community of Virginia Tech remains in our thoughts and prayers.
