Whew! That's just heepy creepy! It made the local news. I'm sure there's so much more of this kind of hidden history in America, that needs to come out too. I'm so very passionate about the hidden history in the very early west in regards to the Black African-type people, Natives, many, many, many of them that lived in the ancient Americas that the European Spaniards and etc. killed off that has been buried history. You know, they said in this news report that it was the Union system that committed these acts against Freed slaves! What's more, I read some of the comments below, and I gotta tell ya, I shake my head at all of the money that went out to celebrate this very holiday that has occurred right at the time of this news report; the 4th of July.

Here are just two of the comments I read, one is a White woman and the other seems to be from a White man...

the greatest country in the world? your country was founded on slavery.. enslaves a huge percentage of the worlds population through puppet governments.. sends it's troops to war then won't help them when they get back. . 17th in the world for education and dropping. 12th in the world for economic freedoms. the ONLY developed nation to not have mandatory paid maternity leave .. I could go on .. and on .. and on but I hope u get the picture.. if u don't believe me look it up. I don't need an uneducated angry reply.

The White woman says that we should ust be proud that America has put that behind us...

As long as one can forget the savageness, the murders, the genocides, the outright inhumanity, the legacy and repercussions of cause and effect...it is very easy to talk that ish about "GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Now when one is a descendant of the things that I have mentioned, one doesn't think or feel like "GOD BLESS AMERICA". It's more like God D.A.M.N. America!!

And it has NOTHING to do with slaves, slavery, OR concentration camps:

    Editorial Reviews
    From Barnes & Noble
If former prosecutor Penn Cage thought that he was entering pristine waters when he became the mayor of Natchez, he was sorely mistaken. One of the five gambling steamboats plying its trade nearby on the Mississippi River has an exclusive clientele and a high-stakes agenda all its own. When Cage learns that the dangerous games aboard this sinful ship sometimes include murder, he has no choice but to launch a one-man campaign against these floating vice kings.
    Publishers Weekly
Iles's third addition to the Penn Cage saga is an effective thriller that would have been even more satisfying at half its length. There is a lot of story to cover, with Cage now mayor of Natchez, Miss., battling to save his hometown, his family and his true love from the evil clutches of a pair of homicidal casino operators who are being protected by a homeland security bigwig. Dick Hill handles the large cast of characters effortlessly, adopting Southern accents that range from aristocratic (Cage and his elderly father) to redneck (assorted Natchez townsfolk). He provides the bad guys with their vocal flair, including an icy arrogance for the homeland security honcho, a soft Asian-tempered English for the daughter of an international villain and the rough Irish brogue of the two main antagonists. One of the latter pretends to be an upper-class Englishman and, in a moment of revelation, Hill does a smashing job of switching accents mid-sentence. A Scribner hardcover (Reviews, May 25). (July)
