Come on Poet
These happenings are bloody insane
Give us some words
To help us to explain
Just how we got here
At this enslaved point again
Umberella words
To get us out this rain
Raining acid raining steel
Bringing us pain
We're trying to think
But all attempts are in vain
With the enemy concepts
Coursing through our brain
Making it difficult
To elude the slaver's net and chain
Come on poet
Offer up some saving refrain
To help us move back
Into our saving lane
You've got the gift
Don't leave us here inane
Lay the words on us
To help us keep sound and sane

Are you calling us poets out so to speak Rasheed?

The state of this world
I cannot lie and say
I have any of the answers
for the chaos of today
The one inkling I do have
that might bring a glimmer of hope
is for us to take care of our own house.
Initiate an inspection of every scope
brainstorm and incorporate a renewal
in ourselves. Ask difficult questions,
conduct a plan of self action.
I'm all for collective suggestions
but until we clean up our own act,
We cannot audition for a role
in somebody else's play.
That's all I have to say.....

I think it's really simple,
too simple to be true...
but the answer you are seeking,
lies in me and you.
God gave us the power,
to rule over this earth...
but we have yet to rule ourselves,
or manifest our worth.
Collective goals, collective thoughts,
as one sounds mighty fine,
but this will never happen
till we learn to free our minds.

watzinaname
glad ya came
yeah i'm calling poets out in the righteous name
it's high noon
the dish done ran away with the spoon
with both the sun and full moon
up in the sky
the universe has started to cry
and the question prevailing is why
the devil's hole card is face up
we can see the victory cup
calling poets out
there is no doubt
i'm seeking collaboration
to shed more light on the situation
calling for words from sharp minds to snap
show us the way past this modern trap
the ingredient you added brought some how
and we cannot even stop now..................
read this and join us poet
bring the word as you know it
