Come right on in......

I have reserved a special place for you
Right up front, so you'll better enjoy the view
That I've prepared for my grand debut
Made up of love and trust and hope
And all the pains that we've, each, been through
As from my pen to your mind and heart,
I want to infuse and imbue
Every emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual view
That we share AND those we won't
But I'll still want you here even though I don't
Understand or accept your p.o.v.
*But, isn't that the essence of poetry?*

So, please, come right in
And allow me to dissect my pen
Because I want you right up inside
For when I hurt, for me, my tears, it cried
And the secrets I could tell no one else,
In it I confide
Upon the tear-stained page, torn decisions,
It helps me choose and decide
And when faith in myself has lagged,
It renews my pride
So, do come inside
For, at times, my strength has waned and died
But I know where I lack,
Through your pen, YOU'LL provide

So, please, come inside....
