Okay, I'm a BRUIN but I ain't mad'atcha...can't believe that Jordan Farmar got picked clean..

I think the BIG EAST still got to get to the ACC...wish Boston College woulda stayed in the Big E till my boy Craig Smith graduates..

Brother O...West Virginia is a well-coached ballclub, and UCLA was racked by injuries, so I'd have to say that it wasn't a real fair fight... The fact that they came back, and made it a ballgame says a lot about their heart, and the coaching of Ben Howland... Howland coached in the Big East at Pittsburgh, and made them into a national power... It wont be long until UCLA is returned to glory - if not their old glory...

Yeah, I was not happy to see Al Skinner and BC leave the fold, but Rick Pittino and Lousiville, and whoever and Cincinatte are now in the Big East, so I think the conference is only going to get, and be, a lot tougher in the future... I think the ACC is top-heavy, while the power in the Big East is more dispersed...

I was glad to see young John Thompson's team looking like his dad's old squads - though their defense is NOTHING like those teams...

    Peace!

Bruh...I hear everythang you sayin' but look at last year's tournament...The Big e is stronger this year because they been reconfiguring it the past few years...but what happened to all those Big E teams last year in the NCAA tournament..many were out in the first two rounds..

And no doubt Ben Howland is a good coach, the biggest change in UCLA is that they have gone back and been able to recruit some younger, LOCAL talent....Afflalo, Farmar, Josh Shipp...I am glad he is getting some of the best local guys, back how it was when I was there...I ahted the fact that Lavin's crew didn't even give Craig Smith a look but they recruited Evan Burns who failed to get his grades together...Man...Smith, Burns and Shipp are my homeboys from Fairfax HS (my alma mater) and Craig played on my 8th grade team ('97)..UCLA did good despite the injuries and West Virginia is higher ranked anyway so, look out next time when Shipp, Fey and Bozeman *sigh* are better..man...don't know what's up with Ced Bozeman..he missed all last year, came back and is hurt again...
