Black Poetry : Collective Achievement

I'm living this life to live again
Not running the race soley for a win
I'm in this for the fulliment of soul
Striving to reach an collective goal
You are my brother therefore I carry you
Even if you won't act like you know you 'ought' to
For the weight of my brother is never too much
Until you can stand alone I will be your crutch
But crutches are not to be a lifetime appendage
They are temporary support until you can manage
You have to need to suceed just as much you need air
For we must rise collectively if we are to ever get there
I'm not preaching something I myself haven't had to live
So you've got to believe me when I say we can achieve
Collectively we shall conquer the entire universe
But apart we are surely destined to be cursed
So get it together brother for I have need of you
To the reach the goal of seeing us all make it thru​
