In 2008, CNN (The Most Trusted Name In News) once attempted their take on media news humor, something akin to Comedy Central's Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

But instead, they would use a black comedian, D.L. Hughley.

This show lasted for 6 months before it was cancelled.

Now in 2016, eight years after the D.L. Hughley "Breaks The News" show, CNN is back at it... with another black comedian, W. Kamau Bell

Should "News" outlets be using "Entertainment/Humor"?
Being that I saw the Daily Show as more credible than any main stream news, what does this suggest in the long run for the propaganda machines?

Keeping in mind, the media is full of psychological manipulation and propaganda, which they gain profits from use of sensationalizing topics for the sake of being entertaining.

By the way, CNN cancelled D.L. Hughley's Break The News not long after this episode:
