do you really claim me?, I mean really claim me?
when you wanna shout out that i'm your only baby
when no other lady could come between our mating
when you could be satisfied with me, your only lady

do you really claim me?, I mean really claim me?
if a woman asked your status Mister, who would I be?
Would you think of my esscence oh so very briefly?
or would you say that you are forever mine and with me?

yeah you say all the right things needed to keep me
but if you got tired me me would you be cheating?
or have you already pretended you want to keep me?
knowing good and well you're tired of repeating

do you really claim me?, I mean really claim me?
or do you just like to come through and kiss and lay me?
f#ck me til the wee hours of a new morning
then act like you can't pick up a telephone and call me

showing me off to your friends ain't claiming
taking me to the out is, but it ain't, cuz you see?
i want the whole world to know the man I need to see
and to me thats the way you have to claim me

yeah i will admit i like how you put it on me
but after awhile if you dont claim me i'll be cheating
dont mean to alarm you in any way baby
but i know quite a few fellas who'd like to claim me....
