BlackBerryJam ... Peace and Blessings ...

This looks like spam ... have you received any of these prizes yourself ?

Seems to me that citibank would link to their own site, if they were giving such great things away?

I caution everyone to be careful ... the link includes a download ... of course i didn't download it.

    Much Love and Peace.

    from the wall street journal:

Citibank is thanking customers - a million times over - for opening America´s most rewarding checking account and today launches its Thanks-A-Million sweepstakes (www.citi.com/thanksamillion) to give away a total of 5 million points to 16 lucky winners. Citibank offers customers enrolled in ThankYou(R) Network with more ways to be rewarded each month for their checking relationship. Now through November 30, new checking account holders enrolled in Citi´s innovative rewards program will be automatically entered for a chance to win up to 1 million rewards points.

    ****

That is just one of many financial magazines/major newspapers that have covered the citibank initiative called "Thanks-a-Million".

I believe it's legit - but as always.. read the fine print! for example - what's I've gained it that the GRAND PRIZE.. one million points - is up to $20k worth in gift certificates and prizes.. the rest a couple hundred here and there.. never cash in hand.. just *stuff* ;).. like 100k free coffee certificates

it all makes as much sense as the fdic raising the insurance amount for accounts from 100k to 250k: if the banks fail and folks lose their accounts, where is the fdic gonna get 250k per account? banks fail = no money = no money for fdic either?

anything to keep folks strung out until it is too late ...

nah, ain't no such thang as "sheople" ...

I would think that with the credit crunch, banks are desperate for cash.. you'll likely see many more such promotional gimmicks to get your money to them... thus.. read the fine print!
