    i waded through
    chrysanthemum filled
    fields of
    rolling hills
    where
    peaceful valleys lay

    i heard the call
    of springtime morning breezes
    as sunshine's light
    gave bath to me

    i walked beneath
    waterfalls of flowing skies
    'til engulfed, was i
    by a sea of darkness
    that sucked the light away {from me}
    i could not see

    step by step
    i felt my way through
    broad forrests of grasses
    that had me
    gasping
    in the absence
    of light

as the morning sun did rise
    again, i waded through
    chrysanthemum filled
    fields of
    rolling hills
    in a peaceful valley
    where the sun rays play
    and beautiful grasses lay
