Flawda
sleep darling
the time of you crawling on your belly
through fecund waters
is done
no longer will you breathe
the pollutants
that others leave in your air

rest darling
cocooned in all the love
that you have known
in your life
rest in the knowledge
that there is and will be
so much more for you to give
as that in your heart
becomes a pair of wings

love will no longer
anchor you
finally
you will
fly
