These claims are popularly made to support religious ignorance and bigotry.

Like all such claims they are connected to some truths and thus get the attention of certain segments of the population and recruits them to continue the fights that divide good people up based on ignorance and bigotry in religious teachings.
Yes, some of the tactics used to popularize Christianity was to fuse it with paganistic teachings. One of which was worship of the sun, ra, rey, sol, son with connections to ancient paganistic connections. This all occured after the deterioation of the true monotheism ( strict surrender to the Will of the One True God called Al-Islam in Arabic) practiced and taught by Jesus (PBUH) and was followed by the spread of this teaching all over the world.

The sun obviously has a big job in this solar system and has been wrongfully worshipped as a deity. Humans created methods of controling the months and years by connecting them to the relationship of the earth and sun (solar year).

Yes, after the true monotheism ( strict surrender to the Will of the One True God called Al-Islam in Arabic) practiced and taught by Abraham (PBUH)and his son Isma'el (PBUH) in what is now call the Middle east, began to be corrupted and deteriorated, widespread idol worship was established like that of ignorant times and one of the idols worshipped was the moon. The determination of the months and years is by the phases of the moon (lunar year) and ignorant people took this out of context and proportions.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)was missioned to call the population back to the pure worship of the One True Creator and had great success.

41:37 And of His portents are the night and the day and the sun and the moon. Adore not the sun nor the moon; but adore Allah Who created them, if it is in truth Him whom ye worship.

I am a Christian. I do not worship the sun or the moon. I give my worship to my Heavenly Father the Most High, Jehovah. And this is the view of many Christians like me.

Where Did The Word < Amiyn > Come From Which They Usally End Suwratul Faatiha , They Will Have To Say It Came From The Aramic / Hebrew Word
< Awmane > Meaning '' To Have Faith '' This Is Where < Amiyn = Amen , '' Mu'minun ... Mu'minaati ... El Mu'min Etc . One Of Allah's Attributes ( 6th ) Was Stolen From , Which In Turn Was Stolen From The Great Egyptian Deity
' Amun . Amun Or Amen Combined With The Sun God < Ra > Was Represented As A Human With A Ram's Head Or A Ram Wearing A Triple Crown Or A Goose . Amen Was Known As The

A Quote From A Book , Entitled Final Reformation . 1986 By Christ Koster , Question The Use Of Amen Of Amenin ( Which Is Still The Same Word ) .
( By Ending Our Prayers With Amen Instead Of Amenin One Could Very Well Ask ; Have We Been Misled To Invoke The Name Of The Egyptian Sun Deity At The End Of Our Prayers ? ...
This Would Apply To Jews , Christians And Muslims < Who Always Hideing Their TRUE Teaching > You Are All Guilty Of Paganism , Which You Consider Wrong !!!!!! And Doesn't It Say In Quraan 72 ; 18 , Wa - Anna - Al - Masaajida - Lil - Lahi - Falaa - Tad'uuw - Ma'a - Allahi - Ahadaan , Which Means '' And Surely The Masaajid , Places Of Prostration '' Are For Him , The Source ' Allah ' Alone ; So Don't Call Out To Anyone ( In Conjunction ) With Allah . '' < ALLAH ALONE NOT THE GREAT EGYPTIAN DEITY AMUN OR AMIYN !!!

Amen also was called hidden/unseen or sunset.

Paul paid homage to him when he said we walk by faith not sight

The Hebrew root word for faith was Aman (Amen).

Amen in Egypt was a god of Truth/maat. look up any thesaurus and the words truth and faith have many linked words.

as a matter of fact revelations calls Jesus Amen
