As Christians you most likely believe that African religions are false. So do you also believe that they are evil and the devil created them?

I did not know I had to be so literal. *sigh* Ok... Christians: Do you believe that religions that are or were practiced in Africa, that are or were not Christianity, at any given time are evil?

I hope I got it right this time.

I can only speak for myself. As a former Christian, I believed all religions not Christianity were false, promoted belief in a false god(s), and would stray one from the path to salvation. The term "Voodoo" carried very deep rooted negative connotations and I believed that the adherents of "Voodoo" were naive superstitious backwarded devil worshippers engaging in human sacrifice and licentious sexual orgies. "Voodoo" equated in my mind any and all beliefs of West and Central African origin.
