Hello brothers and sisters! I am torn between two religions right now. I grew up as a Christian (Baptist). All my life, I believe in Jesus and everything but there is something about the Islamic faith that draws me to it. I want to follow the Islamic faith and still believe in Jesus. I want to pray but I dont know who to pray to. So, Im just confused right now. If you can help me please do. Peace and love.

why are you so hung up on the slave master's religion?
any faith that is spread by conquest is not worthy to be followed.
    free your mind!

I was raised with a Muslim background. However now, while still respecting Allah, I know incorporate different aspects of different "religions" into my belief system. Study the Muslim faith. You say you don't know who to pray to. PRAY TO GOD. GOD has a different name for every particular religion. But HE is the higher/supreme power in all. Hope this helps.
    Blessings,
    Nisa

..."believe" in him in what way..???....Muslims do indeed believe that he was a prophet of the Almighty, but Muslims do not look at him as a god nor worship him (as many Christians do)....besides, the action of "worshipping" Jesus isn't Biblical anyway....and not to mention that his name was Yahshua, not Jesus; but that's another issue.

...but here's some info about 'Jesus' in Islam:

...simply put, they are Jamacians that believe King Haile Selassie of Ethiopia was Jesus reincarnated....and they usually let their hair grow into long locs, as they say the Bible prohibits the cutting of the hair:

...and although I said they were Jamaicans, many non-Jamaican people have also taken up Rastafarianism.

It's okay to be confused right now. I'm a Christian but was not one always. I dibbled and dabbled until I came into the knowledge of who God, Jesus and myself is. What I suggest is you ask yourself some questions. Though you grew up a Christian, have you fully come to understand what it is to be a Christian. Have you accepted Jesus christ as your Lord and Saviour? Do you know who Jesus Christ is. Are you doing what it is that Jesus commissioned his apostles and his church to do? Who is God? What is the Holy Trinity? Where did the Bible come from? What does the Bible say and mean? Those questions will help answer things about Christianity. As for Islam find out what does Islam mean? What does muslim mean? Who was Muhammad? What makes Muhammad special? What do muslims do? What is the Qur'an? Where did the Qur'an come from? How do muslims pray? What does the Qur'an say about Jesus? What are the difference between Islam and Christianity? I also suggest you get advice from people practicing Islam or Christianity. Being that I'm Christian I will naturely be biased but with respect to others you should investigate both religions for yourself and decide. Be in prayer and if you want my biased opinion please ask me and I will give it. You can't straddle the fence.

    Peace
