I'd be willing to bet that most religious texts will support your
theory.
We, as spiritual beings, are indeed gods. We have the God-given power
to create our own reality and manifest our desires. The things we
experience are all for the greatest good of our own spiritual growth.
When praying, you are sending your intentions/desires out. If what
you pray for is within your greatest good, then as you desire -- so
it is. You do not verbally have to speak the words. You thoughts are
very powerful.
Spirit transcends religion.
