    We say them shaking hands. We saw Chevez give Obama a book about how the US and Europe have ravaged south America. We thought we were out of the woods. At least some of us did.

    But after Obama made it clear that he is not about making any real changes Chevez apparently did a double take.

    Listening to Obama's speech when he sold the idea of sending 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan I felt I was not hearing a real human being. I got the strange feeling I was listening to a highly sophisticated android built with cutting edge technology.. Talk about cognitive dissonance. Was this shi+ actually coming out of the mouth of the man I had voted for? Now I remember when he said his views on the war were not all that different from those of George Bush. But like so many I had blinked when he said that. Caught up in the fervor of the "first Black president" I let it slide.

    Before Obama came on the scene the rest of the world had written the US off as a dying power. Well hope was his trump card and he has already played it so there is nothing he can say that will quench the spirit of revolution.

    I will look him up so I can catch what you are saying. I have not owned a television in over twenty years so I don't keep up with Ossie but I remember him.

    Check this out, man. Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich (from The Gingrich Who Stole Christmas) praise the "just war" speech Obama gave in Oslo Sweden when he accepted the prize. I would say go figure but you need a freaking passport to go that far.

    Calvin Lockhart portrayed the charismatic pseudo-leader, pretending to actualize Garvey's dream in the movie "Cotton Comes to Harlem" 1970, adaptation by Ossie Davis from the novel by Chester B Himes

    he will as soon as the CIA and US funded and backed P2 Cosa Nostra leave, and the bases are removed.

    The new improved high tech Mafia has probaly learned after the Cuba incident , to make it more difficult to eradicate them from a revolutionized nation.

    but like some one told me, the US puts out alot of propaganda about countries we are ordered to despise;

    but regardless does anyone really have the ime to actually list how many nations all over the world have populations that feel the same way,
    about someone haveing a war based on 9/11
    in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and now Yemen,

    and then recieve a prize for peace.

    No one has inherited the lack of ability to end a senseless war!

    Chavez is right. He should give it back. If there were any people who didn't understand that the president is just a figure head for a government controlled by larger forces, they probably have had a rude awakening. So we will just have to be content with our first BLACK PRESIDENT. Those two words together are like manna from beyond. No human of any color is going to halt our march to self-destruction. It's all part of the cycle, which even those who control our lives are unable to affect.
