Looking through my wardrobe of faces
I wonder which one I should wear today
I think I’ve outgrown that one with the deep wrinkle in forehead
Never could get that wrinkle out
Besides that frown at the mouth doesn’t quite fit me the way it used to
    Umm…let’s see
Here’s one I remember all too well
It’s a little dusty…but let me try it on
    Oh yeah…here we go
    There’s my smile
And that twinkle is right where it used to be
In the middle of my left eye
And my dimple…check me out ya’ll
    I look good
    I feel good
    I am good
I think I’m gonna wear this face for awhile
I look betta with a smile
    I’m changing faces tonight
Cuz that other one just didn’t fit me right
It’s all worthwhile to throw that face away
And grace my reflection with a smile today

    yea feeling you poet

dealing with the outside world we need different faces

the important thing is to keep it simple

don't have a million different faces

3 or 4 faces are fine one for pride, one for survival, one fun, and one to

    deflect the bullcrap

as long as they end up like your 2 last lines

"It’s all worthwhile to throw that face away
And grace my reflection with a smile today"

    very beautiful awaking piece

    peace poet

You made me smile and the face I am wearing today. It's one we all should become more accustomed to wearing especially among our own people because it gives them wonder and hope that there is a reason to smile--well done--Amun-Ra :welldone:
