Black Poetry : Change gonna come..........

I like to raise the stakes a little
you can call me a gambler
might even call me a rambler

but let me tell ya sista and brotha im gonna speak on the real
aint about to offer you no once in a lifetime kind of deal

just some good ol fashion tell it like it is
its amazing how this world is so full of corruption
and how the power of greed is such a seduction

prices of oil men are dying
inflation flying

and the heros so they say is hiding under there mother's skirt
why cant you face the world and say i've done wrong
no you cant do that because you have to appear strong

tell the world were doing better
and we all know who's making the cheddar

but soon the reign of terror will soon come to and end
and we all see who try to pretend he's our friend

all the mess that been made is gonna be a job
but who better to do it than a Woman

are we ready for the Woman to take her rightfully place upon the throne
we already take care of the bills, the kids, the men and the home
why not let someone that qualifies take a stab at the mess that will be left behind

ask yourself are you ready for the economy to be where its needs to be
are you ready for healthcare to be for the poor and less fortunate
are you ready to own a piece of America
are you ready to be able to go and buy what you want and not have to put it on la-a-way
are you ready to be look upon as finally a woman, man, or child
are you ready to get the respect we all deserve

all that will come when you vote for a Woman America
let what God has blessed us with when man cant seem to get together
let us focus on our land, and then the others can follow later
get rid of the players
thats been stealing from the cookie jar to long

because im tired of being broke, disqusted, fustrated, and all worn out
I just want to be finally able to say before I die
Im sure am glad that i was able to give myself and my children the life we deserve
because the world has seen the light and the light was a Woman
which woman I dont know
but I do know that

Change is gonna come.............
