oh how you have changed
yet i still find my self chained
...chained to your scent
... to your smile
... to a broken heart
and after a while these chains begin to weigh me down
and though i loved you this love is causing me pain
and all of my chains are causing me to drown
drown in a river of regret
...in a sea of sorrow
...in a lake of loneliness
knowing breaths taken yesterday, will sufficate me tomorrow
because as tomorrow slowly unfolds
I am deathly afraid of what the next day will hold
my heart now racing
because the future I face
shows that my soul will chase
a replica of you who will never replace
and i'll be missing your caressin'
and even though it had me stressin'
i'll be missin your spurts of agression
oh how you've changed
and i'm still chained
chained to you
