Alot of latinos and black people from the Caribbean are very much into the ''ATR'' however i find that blacks from the Caribbean never admit to it publicly..iyanla vanzant is for sure in the Yoruba tradition- not sure about Sade and i thought that Westley Snipes was into kemetian science?

also there is not such thing as ''high priesthood of babalawos...

unless if you're referencing the Ogbonis-who serve as the law givers..but initiation into that priesthood is passed down through direct bloodline..

Priest and priestess in Isese are supposed to carry the sign of the left hand of Orunmila or an Ide on their left wrist.

If they don't have one on they're probably not a priest.

This list is laughable. First off, everybody can't only be into the Yoruba tradition as there are other African traditions available. Secondly, all of these folks can't be priests.

The Latinos on the list are mostly Cuban and Puerto Rican, Santeria is the unofficial national religion of Cuba and the IFA is heavily practiced in Puerto Rico- so its not that far fetched. Gloria estafan and Celia cruz i know for sure are Santeria priestesses.. not sure about the Americans, and everyone knows iyanla vanzant is initiated in the Yoruba tradition.

Actually it doesn't have to be passed down from bloodline. When you recieve your Mano de Orula depending on the sign you are given by Orula that is what determines if u can pass to the priesthood of babalawos. I am a Babalawo and just thought id share the info with you.

I can vouch for Forrest Whitaker. The Babalawo that initiated me into Ifa is the same person who initiated Forrest.

I really wouldnt be surprised if George W. Bush showed up on this list because from what Ive seen and heard they let any Tom, Dick or Harry into these religions now a days...smh.
