This is a good question. Both are similar. Difference is if loose in the stock market you can't recover any of your money back. If you invest in the church you can claim your invested money on your taxes. Another difference is we don't investment our money in church to seek a return on our investment per say. We contribute to the body of Christ which extends the Kingdom of God throughout the world. Our contribution is suppose to help the community through ministry. The stock market is suppose to help the community through prosperity. Both require research and accountability. A church that is not accountable for it's contributions is financially out of control and does a disservice to the kingdom of God. Companies in a stock market that misrepresent themselves are dangerous to the investor. What's worse is if these company continue to operate under false pretenses and go unchecked by the Exchange Commission. Bottomline is there is nothing wrong with doing both. Keep things in perspective, do your homework and more importantly be in prayer.

    Peace.......

    Neither.

Both are a gamble that have not paid off for our people to date, and the "pay-off" promised is so far off in the "long run", that it doesn't help us in the here and now.

    PEACE

If I was religious, I would say a church because many of them are helping to build the black community.

However, being that I am not religious, I would not put my money towards a cause that I don't believe in.
