In all honesty I can sympothize with some of the harsher words often used in rap music in there less than flatering identifications of some of our females. Unfortunately their are some females who work hard to earn said titles. but I am surprised when I see decent black women listening and enjoying music that clearly degrades them. And it is just as disturbing when decent men enjoy the same degrading music about their mothers, sista's and doughters.

    you took it deep here
    i respect women
i do not see them as ******* and hoes

we are so conditioned for the negative
and you my coco sis bring it to the forefront.

Coco you had me feeling this

it's all part of the game that people who are inside the game can't see and it is purposely done
    yes we are hypnotized
    and conditioned

This music is disturbing and it's effect

$$RICH$$, It is the message of the DEVIL. Sinful thing is, it's sell~n like HOTCAKES! Scary huh?

Shaz, HARSH is a good descriptive word for the language in these songs. I would agree some women behave in a manner befitt~n those titles. However, what frightens me is the younger sistahs who hear these lyrics and become immune to its harshness and equate those titles with the proper titles. As they equate sex with love, which has created massive emotional problems they drag from one relationship to another. I also agree with what you've stated about men enjoying music that degrades the the women in their lives who they love. I think it started back in the day when we(women) allowed/accepted our men to title us as their old ladies.

    Lister, Thanks for the read:)

Dear So'ja, I salute you for respecting women. Yes we are conditioned, conditioned to continue the beat down of our own. It's a sad reality.:( Tho I will say I'm impressed with the ladies and gentlemen at Destee's they are of great character.

    MadLove:heart: Coco
