This is my first posting, I love this website and dig the advice you give so please help me out.

up until a few months ago, I did everything right. Never smoked, never drank, and still a virgin which I know is very rare to find in a teenager these days. Anyway, I was doing good until all of a sudden guys just started coming at me out of no where.

One guy in particular I've been talking to for a few months now. We flirt a lot and there's some feelings between us but we are just friends. Well lately we've been involved physically and now he's saying he loves me and all but I don't feel the same way and I don't think I ever will. I really like this guy and want to keep him as a friend, but being with him is throwing me off track. How can I let him down easily without hurting him too badly because I know he will be hurt

    Please give me your advice!

shayshay..........as friends you two should have kept it that way
once you open the door of flirtation you allow him in and now the
physical part has made it even more wrong if you only saw him as
an friend (love can be blind) yet you continue to say how you like
this guy but not enough to be as mates but friends .....

sweetie you have to just tell him where you stand
and keep it real y'all just friends a friendship of heart
    no more , no less
even if it hurt a little hearts do mend with time
before it go to far tell him where you stand
GoddLuck on this misunderstanding emotional feelings

Oh yes SwtT.....so true, so true.

Shay I say that honesty is always the best policy. How you feel is how you feel and there's nothing you nor him can do to change that. If he is a true friend, he will understand that what you all had was an opening experience for you and that you know now what position he stands with you, and he will accept it.
