    I wrote your name
    On a piece of paper
    First
    Middle
    And last
    Your number
    Your date of birth
    Your likes
    And your dislikes
Your hopes and dreams for the future
The things you liked to do
    In and out
    Of bed
    Your favorite color
    Your favorite food
    The story
Of how you got that scar on the back of your head
The dimple in your left cheek
The mole behind your right ear
    I wrote it all down
    Nice and neat
    I folded it in three
I placed it in a fresh white envelope
    Sealed it nice and tight
    I placed that envelope
In the pretty silver tray you bought me for
    My 21st birthday
Found the matches from that resteraunt
You took me to the other night
That night you told me you didn’t love me
    That there was someone else
The night you told me that I
    Just wasn’t enough
    I burned that envelope
That I sealed nice and tight
And placed on that pretty silver tray
Watched it burned down to the last
    Flickering
    Flutter
    And then a tear drop
    Distinguished the last dying flame

    Natasha.........

Sometimes a poet will express their emotions in poetry eloquently in a time of pain.......I hope I don't overstep my bounds, if this is the case to say, be strong.....it really does get better....I know, I've been there, take this time to reflect and take care of your emotional state.

    My family

it seems I've had to do this a couple of times .......you need closure, times of reflections, its so hard to let go of what you thought you wanted from life ...from relationships , fortunatley for me and many of you guys , pen and paper makes it a bit more easier to let go when the time comes ...

Thank you all for the read and the support
    Madd Love !!!

this was deeply sad and painful....
you describe this in a way that lets us see you sitting there writing and then burning the letter..and I agree with J'hiah..
    the ending was a heartstopper..
