According to a hu(e)mans' thinking -- so is he or she. Directly quoted and list below are the words written in 1933 almost 79 years ago by the profound Carter G. Woodson who authored The Mis-Education of the Negro.

    -----------

Page 42 - "...In chameleon-like fashion the Negro has taken up almost everything religious which has come along instead of thinking for himself..."

    Page 5
"...The problem of holding the Negro down, therefore, is easily solved. When you control a man's thinking you do not have to worry about his actions. You do not have to tell him not to stand here or go yonder. He will find his 'proper place' and will stay in it. You do not need to send him to the back door, he will cut one for his special benefit. His education makes it necessary..."

Carter G. Woodson is correct -- Negroes mimic rather than think -- while the "think tank" handed to them via the oppressor ~~continues to subsume them into an ameniatic abyss of forgetfulness while their own true selves hang in the balance -- un-nourished and unaware of their spiritual potential.

.......Woodson has a valid point with his plan:

What is keenly interesting is that these items seem to over-lap with the understanding that Astrology, along with Woodson’s plan of uplift for the Negro, blends well. In my opinion, and as you well know, Woodson had no idea that the scientific study he proposed back in 1933 involved the Black Science of Astrology, which dates back to the Mazzaroth. It seems to me that one of the best things astrology can achieve is to unlock the subconscious and mental ability through introspection, what say you Astrologer4U?

Astrology is an African creation, period -- therefore, Mr. Woodson was only authoring what came naturally...! The construct of forgetfulness (eg. slavery) has temporarily stripped us of our CREATIVE right in the universe.

I'm not Harold Campling -- yet the assessment of the "Negro psyche" as outlined by Dr. Woodson in 1933 is "still" applicable.
