When you played both ends
Sexin' every woman available
While the one who stood by your side
@Night lay hurt and crying
But later became angry
Calling you every insult nameable
Did you have your fun?

When you laid down your rules
And she, not out of fear, but RESPECT
Honored them and you
Only to learn that she was
Just another link in your "Chain of Fools"
Did you feel like a King?

When you made your bed
As hard as you tried to be
But discovered that the grass
Wasn't as green as you thought you'd see
Did you rest well?

And, when you finally flayed your heart
For once, giving not taking, thinking, "This is the One!"
Forgetting in your new-found joy
That what one does, in turn, unto him is also done
Did you ""Charge it to the Game?"

So, when you did the math
Reflecting over your choices and actions
And all your many faces, facades, and factions
Did you add yourself to a list of winners?

And when you weighed the final cost
Did the scales of life (and what truly matters)
Show that you had really
Come up short....... and Lost?
