South Africa : Cape Town has Become One of the World’s Most Dangerous Cities

Once again as usual folks have lost focus. When we can stop making an issue about individuals and deal with the content maybe folks can begin to move forward. The thread is about the horrific crimes in an African country being perpetrated upon a people that mirrors the same here in our inner cities across America. The focus needs to be on what needs to be done to change this and not on the pettiness that has transpired here. It is that same pettiness and immaturity that prevents meaningful dialogue towards the implementation of meaningful change.
At the end of the day we are all living in a white dominated world and everything that we have has been provided by that white man. Everything that we are has been influenced by that white man even to the point of his blood coursing through our veins.
This is the world we live in and folks need to focus on how they are going to make it better for themselves and others here in this world!

Those of us old enough can recognize the eerily similar parallels of what happened to our communities here in the US.

The system is not designed to help anyone but themselves.

Thus my statement:

All you see didn't happen in a bubble. There is a cause and effect on why EVERY hood on earth has the same exact characteristics.

When people have discussions regarding the present day climate surrounding black people, i hope that most people can appreciate that the condition of black people is no accident. Our condition is not self-inflicted. I don't get it, if everyone has a solution and reason why black people are in the condition we are in, if reversal of this condition is so easy why hasn't it happen? (rhetorical question).

People are not the problem, the problem is the problem. Of course people can solve problems but what happens when the monkey wrench appears? (again rhetorical)

We continue to thrive under adverse conditions and great conditions as well. We are the strength of our ancestors.

As long as there are great black people like people on this site and great black people around the world, our greatness will shine regardless of what we are confronted with.

Peace to the brothers and sisters.
