    Can't hear the storm
Though is blazing outside my window

Can't seem to focus on my gender
    Or please these wicked people

    Disorder and emotions
    Last longer
    To numb the pain

    The heat
    Suffocates me
    So I can't breathe

    Or react
    To the bold questions
    Even to feel released

Knowing that they aren't trying to play hang man

Still my fight is my song
    My comfort

    Justification

    Understanding

    My thought life

    Huh, just a suggestion

Or rather yet a deep reflection

    Not looking for perfection

    Still hard to face rejection

    Of

    Ideas

    Hopes

    Dreams

That one day we will be free from dope

    Not just living life

    With an okay

    or the okey doke

    Once I was a slave

    Thats how I'd behaved

    Mentally perplexed

    What's life

    And how does it work

    Trying to understand it's way

    Once motivation

Proved catipult me into my destination

    And find

    Deep revelation

    Awww,

    I can reap life

As I give it my dedication

As I keep strife and quarrel

    From throwing me into fustration

I build upon the satisfaction of knowing

    Where I want to be

Is where I need to be

And where I need to be

    Is needed

    Like I am needing

    This episode everlasting

    It's cycle

    Can be deadly

    But natures law

    Succeeded

    Can't hear the storm

    Out my window

    Nothing more than the norm

    Of the rain trickle

    Down my window pain

    I can confide

    And know why

Those were meant to be the times

    That I know truth

    souljourn on

    From my youth

    No issue is wrong

    Still take strong

Right back to where you belong

    No mystery

    No mystery

Since I know it's sweet history

    In these times

    All is lost

    But

    When you seek

    You shall find.

    Sincerely,

    Desert Storm

No matter what the forces are that surround you, you learn how to forge on. I appreciated the determination in this piece.
