    Peace and Blessings Family,

With DNA being the current standard for convicting / absolving folk from crimes, and us being the ones most labeled criminal, can any of us read it?

In addition to proving us criminal, it seems to be at the heart of many things these days.

Read it, may be the wrong phrase, as it may be more than just "reading," but i think you all know what i mean.

Do you know how to determine if the DNA present is yours, or someone else's?

If you were charged with a crime, and told that your DNA was present, how would you refute that?

Do you know anyone that can read / determine DNA?

Could you afford your own DNA experts, if needed? How much do they cost?

Do you know the steps needed to determine DNA? What specific tools are used?

Is this process so beyond the average person, that we simply have to accept what others say?

I remember Brother OldSoul shared that way back in the day, finger printing was the top technology used to convict many Black People of crimes. He said that folk were led to believe that the process was scientific and sure, and if they said they had your fingerprint, you were good as convicted. Only to find years later, that it is often a judgment call, connecting points / dots and not a real whole fingerprint matching up. In addition, we know they've been wrong many times.

Even with DNA, folk have been convicted, only to find it was read wrong. So it too is subject to error, as fingerprinting is.

So ... who amongst us can read / determine DNA?

What are the steps in learning how to do this?

Can the average person do this?

How fair is it, to use a technology against us, that we don't understand, can't afford, and have no access to expert opinons to counter their expert opinions?

We need some DNA experts of our own. Who are the Black DNA experts in the world?

What path (lessons, studies, etc.) would our children need to take, in order to become a DNA expert?

Yeah Brother James ... we just gotta encourage them in this way, give them the steps to take, let them know that it is attainable, and no doubt quite lucrative ... considering the number of Black Folk that may need this service ... and how empowering it must be, to be able to do this kind of work.

    Yeah ... i'm with you!

Kemetstry ... i thought of you when i posted this thread, thinking who in the community may actually have such ability / skill. It's great that you've said you can do it! Wow! That's really kewl!

Kemetstry ... can you tell us, like the first 5 steps involved ... you know ... just whet our appetite a little ... give us something to think on, google, search, consider and contemplate, regarding the process?! Please.

Kemetstry ... lol @ me calling your name every time ... but Kemetstry ... i just noticed that your Premium Membership has expired ... ... also ... i did get your message, sorry i missed your call.

Let us know though ... what's up with this DNA stuff ... could i do it at home if i wanted to? What tools would i need? Is it rocket science ... lol ... oh gosh ... i mean ... don't say yes ... just break it down to the most simplest way of understanding ... remember ... you're talking to me! :)

This is sooooooooo kewl !!!! You Go Kemetstry !!! :weights:

Can i call you if they have my DNA on somebody's neck that i choked ?? ... and i'm denying everything!? ...

Seriously though ... (but i'm serious about everything above) ... what path must the children take, to be like you, able to do this?

:SuN020: I was sent a notice last year. I have received nothing this year.

    1. You must love science, math and discovery.

    2. You must study, study, study!

    3. Getting a job in a hospital or forensic lab would greatly help. A parmacuetical firm is a plus as well. But that depends on the firm.

Kemetstry ... sorry you didn't get the email notice this time, it should have automatically gone out. Please forgive.

I wish you would have told me you knew how to do this 10 years ago, when we first met. Maybe we wouldn't have fought so much all of these years!

    Much Much Love and Peace!

    Reading DNA Huh???????
    Hmmmmm.........
    Well......
I think we should begin reading ourselves First
    Not Being Densely Sarcastic But....
Anything Science can determine we can determine ourselves
By knowing ourselves ...and our Children
Its not a hard Thing to do
    Heck....
Our DNA is On our Faces(eyes, nose, mouth)
    But Scientifically..........
I think we definetly need to attend a class or two
And a computer microscope  glass slide ot pea tree dish
    and :em2700: a syringe....Smh....(OH...the Agony!)

Maybe learning to Identify all of our Nuclei's Differences we can have clarify

(I dont know if anything I just said makes any sense.....I tried :10500: )

Hey  maybe it's how acidic our Acid is!!!!!
    (get it....DeoxyriboNucleic Acid !!!!!!:em19: )

    :dance1:
    :qqb003:
    OH Yeah And I'm Out!
