Malcolm stated the importance of puting before any elected official, local or national, aBlack agenda as a bargaining chip for their votes.

"A ballot is like a bullet. You don't throw your ballots until you see a target, and if that target is not in reach, keep your ballot in your pocket."
    http://www.malcolm-x.org/quotes.htm

What would be the power of a real tangible national agenda foremd from he grass roots community?

and can we form one right here within the next 4 or 5 months?

The time is not specific, since the economic climate dictates we need one like yesterday,
    but things take time

Not to criticize what I think might be your intent, but some of these threads are beginning to sound cliche. How precisely do we settle differences that, in and of themselves, are often inherently substantial and deep enough to prevent such an agenda? What are those exact steps? How are we going to ALL get on the same page without having first sufficiently addressed what caused the differences in the first place?

There cannot be a black political agenda under a white power structure.

COINTELPRO - FBI Domestic Intelligence Activities
The purpose of this new counterintelligence endeavor is to
expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or OTHERWISE NEUTRALIZE [emphasis
added] the activities of black nationalist hate-type organizations and
groupings, their leadership, spokesmen, membership, and supporters, and
to counter their propensity for violence and civil disorder. The activities
of all such groups of intelligence interest to the Bureau must be followed
on a continuous basis so we will be in a position to promptly take advantage
of all opportunities for counterintelligence and inspire action in instances
    where circumstances warrant.

then why bother to wake up in the morning?

Did we fear anything when we held the over 14 thousand slave rebellions?

Fear is the first obstacle to success, and who said anything about doing anything illegal?

And who worships J Edgar Hoover as some all poweful deity?
the man who said the Cosa Nostra is a myth?

Even when Hoover was at his pinnacle he could not sop the changes that King and Malcolm and others brought about. The only thing that stops Black people is Black people when we allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by thoughts of what the white man is not going to let us do. We don't succeed because somebody let us but because no one can stop us.

King said "The shame of the twentieth century will not be the clamor of the bad people but the silence of the good people." So the circumstances he worked under weren't any different from what we have today, a few people working while the majority of Blacks hang back, watching, criticize and/or ignore what is going on.

If we wait for the majority of Blacks to rally behind a Black agenda we will be waiting a loooooong time. But we can still define and implement an agenda that addresses a number of issues important to Black people.

Unfortunately, simply erasing the title didn't change the underlying issue. On what precise factors are you asking people to unite? If it's going to be black agenda in the truest sense, then you'd have to ensure that nonblacks aren't able to interfere, influence, or become involved----either directly or indirectly. Is there a plan for that? Otherwise it will still read as 'cliche'.

There's no way to identify the race of people on the internet unless the person announces it. Or maybe you could set up an ip dress search system that checks the census data for every person who registers here. We could see the presence of non blacks as a problem and we could use that problem as our excuse for not doing anything at all The absence of the perfect situation is the most effective tool for procrastination thee is.

We need to set up a forum where we could get people from different states to sign up and organize a faction. The problem is that we are separated in everything we do, we all fighting different enemies. Tens of thousands of us fighting the real defined enemy will get the job done. Who is with me lets get this started. I was inspired when I seen civil right activist marching, fighting cops in the street, and protesting. I was inspired when I heard about Nat Turner and the slave riots. I know protesting and marching are old tactics, but the difference was that those people had not one ounce of fear in them. We all need to get together and come up with new tactics, strategies, and know who we fighting.
