You been there and seen it, as if the rest of us, who are actually black, ain't seen the exact opposite? Does your experience trump ours somehow? Does it make up the majority because you've seen it?

I can give story after story of black people around me who have encouraged me to be better than they were; to reach further, to gain more because of the hope they had for the next generation.

How arrogant of you to come in here trying to tell us how we are, as you usually do.

It's because many whites think their experience is the only experience that counts! So what they experience of us, is just the way it is with black folks, and be d**ned to anyone who knows otherwise.

Seeing that they've grown up in a world that tells them it's all about them, and no one else, I guess we can't expect much.

Sure thing Destee. My bad. I know moms get tired of kids come up crying to them when they lose. I do feel as if I have been objective. For me the Mike Brown case isn't even about race but rather right and wrong. Id like to hear your thoughts on it when you have time.
