As African Americans who are the descendants of those who have endured the greatest crime in human history, most of us are well aware that the main purpose of the US civil war, was not to end slavery. However the war did play an important role in helping to end it, so for most of us that war does have some significance!

Now what would ones opinion be of Great Britain, calling Lincoln a murdering tyrant fro the killing of hundreds of thousands of Southern rebels?
And then threatening to send troops to the US to stop Lincoln and perhaps create regime change?

Sounds kind of whak dont it?

but move the scenario up a hundred years transport it to the Middle East, and if a POTUS that looks like us says it,
some Black folks think it is a great idea. Why is that????

10 Questions to African Americans who voted for Obama not for his color but becuase of his promise to ned the Fascism of the Bush Neocons and desire to Police and then loot the world!

1 Was Iran ever a threat, ever made any verbal threat or threat to US citizens on Iranian soil abiding by Iranian laws?
So why is the president so adamant about regime change in Iran?

2 Why would the president continue a [policy that had no foundation under the 8 years of Bush

3 Was Libya ever a threat or ever made a verbal or written threat to the United states or US citizens on Libyan territory, abiding by the law, under Gaddafi's administration?
So why was Libya colonized and shouted by AFRICOM to be their first succesful mission in Africa?

4 Does the Caspian Sea have almost as much or maybe more oil then all of Saudi Arabia, and for a pipeline to go from the Caspian the the Mediterranean aren't there two destablized nations that are in the way?

Draw a straight line from the Caspian to the Mediterranean

Notice Which part of Syria it goes through??????

You are aware that Lincoln was a white supremacist, yes?

Why should African-American care about the Middle East and Arab countries?
You are also aware that enslavement of Africans by Arabs went on for 4x as long as European slavery, yes?

Saudi Arabia hadn't officially abolished slavery until 1962 and UAE in 1963.

I suspect there were other motives afoot for the abolition of slavery in US with most of them being economic and political....
It is odd that someone as intelligent as you and on here as long as you would pile up a list of facts already discussed here years ago, so like whats your point brother?

Your analogy is off. Waaaay off! There was no civil war in England that resulted in Syria being freed. Plus, Syria is a Muslim country and more blacks have been enslaved under Islam than ever under Christianity. Ergo, there is NO analogy between us gaining independence and Syria.

Plus, Britain has already said it would not join the U.S. in attacking Syria before Obama called it off so, again, off.

No just say you yourself dont get it cause over 75 on FB did!

The point is Syria is involved in a civil war. Period!

The US was involved in a civil war period!

Does the US have the right to stop any civil war in the world?

Or does it have as much right as England or France or any other nation trying to stop the civil war in the 1800s?

Of course you have a post about slavery in Syria?

Cause the US supports every Arab nation, that does have Africans as slaves! and the nations that do support an invasion!
