Young, naive and looking for rapture
But instead I was brainwashed and captured
Too young to know that this was not love at its best
Just young and simple-looking to be carressed
My weaknesses and downfalls were your fascination
You fullfilled all my desires and quenced every temptation
You summoned for me and I came
But somewhere along the path "missmona" was not the same
Thinking that you knew how to embrace and mend my heart
But in the end I was nothing my spirit was torn apart
    Caged.....by your strengths
I succomed to a phase called "denial"
You put my soul to the ultimate test and my heart on trial
    Caged......by your manhood
You ravished my body and captured my soul
You left my mind clueless and my heart one big hole
    Caged.......

caged you were, ...but here's the good thing about it, somehow you were strong enough to figure it out, and that's the beginning of your growth. I like where you took this piece, nice scribing...keep the pen moving.

Only caged temporarily, the mind was too strong to hold down, I like where you went with this piece, you found your way out.

    caged for a moment,
    but yet you survived.
    learned what true love was,
    matured from the little child.
that was blind to seeing that true love,
couldn't be measured by the simple physical features.
you stepped upon the thing lay hidden,
    a beautiful sleeping creature.............you...flow on :)

    monad.poetress,
well said, i felt the feelings and heard the words
no longer young, naive and looking for rapture
    no longer brainwashed or captured
    no longer caged
    but freed
    seeing it all
    equipped not to fall
    the same way
    on a new day.......
    now open eyed chosing
    replaces closed eyed losing

    Peace and Blessings
