Awakened by the light of day
Lost the cable yesterday
Failed to pay a bill
Again...

Wish I had
An able friend

Mortgage
Took me
To the house

Food enough
To feed a mouse

Bailing out
The Wall Street gang
Left me begging yet again

Motorcar is out of gas
Registration almost lapsed
Whopping slice of humble pie

Time to tithe with

Fruitful eyes ~
