The gulag slave prison camps of Joseph Stalin, in Siberia were an important part of the backbone of industry in the economicaly crumbling Soviet Union.
On PBS series "Commanding Hieghts" an old man relaesed from this prison city the size of Connecticut,
said he was thrown in jail for takeing out the wrong book from the library
WELL IF THE BOOK WAS SO SUBVERSIVE, WHY DID THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW IT THERE IN A STATE RUN LIBRARY IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!
Now there is evidence that George Bush junior and Rumsfield had imported former KGB brass to assist in the draconian measures of Homeland security Bill, so it comes as no suprise that the present POTUS has allowed this bit of entrapment in the Patriot Bill to be renewed;
One of these is Section 215, which allows the FBI to slap National Security Letters on bookstores and libraries and thereby find out who has been checking out or buying which book.
