Two four-legged friends of mine,
Day and night by my side,
No secrets from them can be hidden,
Especially the food to be eaten.
The bigger pal is Buddy,
I don't know how he calls me,
He's got the looks of an angel,
But he turned my house into hell.
His sister's puppy is Sol,
She's sweet as honey,
Never wants to leave me,
I suppose all the time she's hungry.
I'll tell you how they came into my life,
How I found them or how they found me,
One day I was sharing posts about dogs,
Then someone chatted with me that I must be a dog lover.
Surely, I love dogs more than cats,
I always feel close to a man's best friend,
And so I was told to fetch these two puppies,
They are given to me for free.
Since then, my life has changed,
Since I ain't got a wife but two babies,
First, they tore my shoes, then, my slippers,
They pee and poo everywhere.
One thing is good I've got someone to talk to,
No, at least someone listens to me rather,
We share a bed and we share food,
I think this is how to be a responsible pet owner.
I'm beginning to be an animal psychologist,
Or maybe they are becoming more humane than me,
I named them Buddy and Sol, inseparable,
Akin to say one is my body, the other is my soul.
